Required Qualifications and Physical Standards

Educational Requirements:

  • Second Class or Grade “C” Bachelor’s Degree from an HEC-recognized university in one of the following subjects:

    • Chemistry
    • Physics
    • B.Sc. Engineering in any specialty

Age Limit:

  • Minimum Age: 18 years
  • Maximum Age (with general 5-year relaxation): 30 years
    (i.e., 25 + 5 years relaxation)

Physical Standards:

Male Candidates:

  • Height: 5 feet 6 inches
  • Chest: 32″–33.5″

Female Candidates:

  • Height: 5 feet 2 inches

Applicants retired from the Armed Forces as JCO rank are also eligible to apply as per Section 226 of the Customs Act, 1969.
